Preparing for the 4th of July parade at the Coast

Taking inventory of my Parade decor

A Siesta "Fiesta" Grad Party!

I  created this cupcake display by wrapping a box  in my Fiesta colors. I knew i want the center of the table to "Pop"

My daughter created the "printables" for the cupcake's . I used a craft stick which i added to the flair.

A view of the Beverage Bar

Originally i had thought of making a Hedgehog out of watermelon tho i compromised for time.

I found Ball glasses and tied raffia around the tops.

My Wall

I found a Sangria receipe on line

I cut strips of the wrapping paper to give the look of printables to cover the glass containers.

I filled a basket of rolled silverware.

This was a very easy candy bar display. I used colors in the Fiesta theme . The  animal cookies  were also a great hit.

I like to give a sense of style to even my serving dishes.  Using 3 sets was also practical.

Late night dreaming while reading.....

Last night i browsed the information highway and stayed up past midnight.
I dragged myself out of bed and put my banker hat on only anxious to come home and browse again..
First of all i have A fiesta Graduation party planned for "Father's Day weekend"..Second i am planning on participating with Randy's family during a 4th of July Parade. What a wonderful way to get the "buzz" started around the local area about my up and coming party planning.
So...i read...and i dreamt...and i browsed...and then i slept too little...
So i just wanted to share with you all this fun candy sight that has great ideas for color coordinating for your candy bar..
Happy Planning y'all!

Preparing for my Daughter's wedding... 9/2011

My amazing 2 helpers. Two talented beautiful women

My daughter. My friend. An amazing mother,  photographer and
Party Planner. We share the love of party planning.

Wedding favor. I found 6 boxes of  brass bells at  a local Hallmark
store. Each box was $1.00 for 24. We changed our idea of chocolate  kisses wrapped in tulle.

My inspiration for my candy Bar.

I started w/ the orange buckets and suckers. I used the colors of the
wedding. Tropical yet went well with the Spice colors.

Sampling of the flowers the girls made into bouquets.

Daughters that so lovingly helped out with the flower arrangements. Flowers purchased
at Costco the day before. Arrive when the store opens and ask to see the selection they
have. We were allowed to visit the back cooler and choose our many bouquets.

The white chairs and lights added to the country feel we were
leaning toward. Our Country "princess bride" loved everything.

Turkey roasted in our new electric roaster. A great way to free
up oven space.

Smiley Face Birthday Party

I looked for several months for anything smiley face. I ended up creating my
own ideas.  ..Smiley faces colored on white bags tied with ribbons complimented the look.
Very simple but fun for an 11 year old.

Yellow suckers with a smiley face drawn on.
Yellow candies pull it all together.

Each table setting is complete with matching  color coordinating plastic wear
tied with curling ribbon.

Yellow fabric draped on white tablecovering adds color to the simple look.
